Who we are
BudBud is a product operated by BinaryForge. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect data when you use our pre-alpha services.
What we collect
- Discord account identifiers and basic profile info.
- Guild identifiers, roles, and bot configuration preferences.
- Billing metadata tied to Stripe subscriptions.
- Optional knowledge packs or rules you upload for your guild.
- Usage metadata (timestamps, success/failure, response stats).
How we use data
- Authenticate you and load your connected guilds.
- Deliver answers and guild-specific configuration.
- Manage subscriptions, access controls, and entitlements.
- Improve reliability, security, and answer quality.
- Provide support and respond to requests.
Legal basis
We process data to provide the service, with your consent where required, and to comply with legal obligations.
Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We use trusted providers like Discord, Google Cloud, and Stripe to operate BudBud. These providers process data on our behalf and are required to protect it.
International transfers
Your data may be processed in regions where our providers operate. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
Retention
We keep data only as long as needed to operate the service or meet legal requirements. You can request deletion of guild data or your account, and we will act within a reasonable timeframe.
Security
We use industry-standard security practices, including access control, encrypted transport, and auditing. No system is perfect, but we work to minimize risk.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data. If you are an admin, you can also request deletion of a guild's data.
Children's privacy
BudBud is not intended for children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will revise the date at the top when changes are made.
